Improvement of epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva (endogenous and exogenous diseases)
Epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva can occur due to endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome or Stevens-Johnson syndrome, as well as exogenous diseases resulting from surgery, medication use, trauma, or contact lens wear. This medication is used to alleviate the symptoms of epithelial disorders of the conjunctiva and protect eye health.
Both 0.1% and 0.3% formulations: instill 1 drop 5-6 times daily. Adjust dosage appropriately depending on symptoms. Usually, the 0.1% formulation is administered, and if the effect is insufficient for severe diseases, the 0.3% formulation is used.
This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to protein-based drugs or who show hypersensitivity to its ingredients. Symptoms such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, and corneal disorders may occur, and if such abnormal symptoms arise, use should be immediately discontinued and appropriate action taken. In addition, unusual reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatosis may occur, so if these symptoms appear, use should be stopped and treatment should be sought. Adverse reactions may occur more frequently when used with other eye drops, so intervals of about 30 minutes should be observed between the use of this medication and others. This eye drop is solely for use in the eyes, and care should be taken to avoid contact of the tip of the container with the eyelid or eyelashes to prevent contamination of the solution. For single-use products, it is advisable to discard 1-2 drops at the first use, and any remaining solution should be discarded immediately after opening. It should be stored in a cool place out of the reach of children and away from direct sunlight, and should not be transferred to another container to maintain quality.
