Treatment of dermatophyte infections of the skin (such as athlete's foot, tinea corporis, etc.)
This medication is used to treat common dermatophyte infections such as athlete's foot, tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea capitis that occur due to dermatophytes.
Once daily, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area.
This medication should not be used by individuals who have previously shown allergic reactions to specific ingredients. It is advisable that women who are pregnant or may become pregnant, as well as nursing mothers, refrain from using this medication. Also, it is not recommended for children or infants. This medication should not be applied to mucous membranes such as around the eyes, in the mouth, in the nose, or in the vagina, nor should it be used on eczema or very moist areas, or severely injured sites. It is also safest not to use this medication on the nails or scalp. During treatment with this medication, breastfeeding should be discontinued since this medication can be secreted in breast milk. It may be necessary to consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medication. For example, if you are undergoing other treatments, have a history of drug allergies, or have a family history of allergies, you should consult a professional. Furthermore, if it is not clear whether the skin condition is eczema or athlete's foot, or if there is an issue on the face or a broad area, or if there are infected wounds, consultation is also needed before use. This medication contains an ingredient called propylene glycol, and those with allergies to this ingredient should use it with caution. If unusual symptoms such as redness, itching, swelling, irritation, or dryness appear during use, you should stop using it immediately and consult a professional. Additionally, if symptoms do not improve after 2 weeks of use or worsen, you should stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication must be used strictly according to the prescribed method and dosage, and should not be applied on dirty lesions. Care should be taken not to touch the eyes or mucous membranes with hands that have applied this medication, and if it gets into the eyes, you should rinse with clean water immediately and seek ophthalmic treatment. This medication is a topical agent for skin use only; ingestion or use on other parts may pose risks. Animal studies have reported that the ingredients of this medication may cause some skin reactions due to light exposure, so it is advisable to avoid direct sunlight during use. When storing, keep in a sealed container away from direct sunlight in a cool place and out of reach of children. Transferring to another container may carry the risk of misuse or alter the quality of the medication, so it should be stored in its original container. Also, do not use expired products, and it is best to use them as soon as possible after opening.
