How to apply drops

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with epithelial herpes simplex keratitis, vaccinia, varicella, or viral infections of the cornea and conjunctiva. Additionally, it should not be used by those with an allergy to this medication, children, or nursing women. While using this medication, local side effects such as itching or swelling of the eyelids and redness of the conjunctiva may occur, so caution is advised. Serious eye problems such as glaucoma, vision impairment, and cataract formation may arise, so if any unusual symptoms occur, it is important to consult a specialist immediately. When used with other specific antibiotics, blood levels should be monitored closely, and administration should be discontinued if side effects occur. Caution is necessary because steroid components may worsen acute infections in the eye. Long-term use may result in corneal fungal infections or secondary bacterial infections, so the condition should be monitored closely. Overuse may lead to symptoms such as keratitis, erythema, swelling, eyelid itching, and increased tear production, so the dosage should be adhered to strictly. Blurred vision may rarely occur, so if this symptom appears, it is advisable to seek medical attention immediately. Long-term use may lead to the development of resistance, such as fungi, and cross-reactivity with other similar antibiotics may occur. In case of reinfection, appropriate treatment should be received, and precautions should be taken regarding the risk of infections such as chickenpox or measles, including confirming vaccination history and disease history. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should only use this medication if the benefits outweigh the risks, as safety during pregnancy is not well established. The safety and efficacy of this medication in children have not been fully confirmed, so it is advisable to avoid its use. When using, do not inject directly into the eye, and it should only be used for instillation; care should be taken to avoid contact between the container opening and the eye. To prevent contamination, it is safe not to share the medication with others. When storing, keep this medication out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and store in a cool, dry place. Additionally, it is important not to transfer the medication to another container to maintain its quality.
