This medication is used to treat epithelial disorders of the cornea and conjunctiva resulting from endogenous diseases like Sjögren's syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, dry eye syndrome, and from exogenous causes such as surgery, use of medications, trauma, or wearing contact lenses.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

For 0.1% and 0.3% formulations, instill 1 drop, 5 to 6 times a day. Adjust dosage appropriately according to symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients who are allergic to specific ingredients or proteins. Side effects such as itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, and keratitis may occur, and if these symptoms arise, use should be discontinued immediately. Additionally, caution should be exercised as hypersensitivity reactions such as eyelid inflammation or dermatitis may occur. When using this medication with other eye drops, adverse reactions may occur more frequently, so it is advisable to use this medication 30 minutes after applying other eye drops. This medication is intended only for use in the eye, and care should be taken to avoid contact of the tip of the container with the eye or eyelashes. For single-use products, the first 1-2 drops should be discarded, and any remaining solution after opening should be discarded immediately. Avoid using this medication with others as it helps prevent infection. When storing, keep it in a cool place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children, and do not transfer it to another container.
