Effectiveness in preventing skin infections before surgery and injections
This medication is used to disinfect the skin of patients before surgery and is effective for cleaning the skin before inserting a syringe needle or catheter. This helps prevent infections and promotes safe procedures. Therefore, it is used for skin disinfection before surgeries and prior to injections and catheter placements.

This medication contains chlorhexidine, so individuals who are allergic to this ingredient or have a history of hypersensitivity should not use it. This medication should not be used directly on critical areas such as the brain, spinal cord, eyes, and ears, as serious side effects such as hearing loss or neurological disorders may occur. It is also prohibited for use on mucous membranes or infants under 2 months old. Individuals with hypersensitivity to other medications or those with allergic conditions such as asthma, or with a family history, should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this drug. Caution is necessary when using it extensively on areas with wounds, burns, mucous membranes, or immature skin, as it may increase risks. If allergic symptoms such as skin rash, urticaria, nausea, dizziness, or difficulty breathing occur while using this medication, discontinue use immediately and consult medical personnel. Care should be taken not to get it into the eyes; if it does, it should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water immediately. This drug is for external use only; if ingested or accidentally injected, immediate hospital care for appropriate treatment is required. When used for long periods or over large areas, care should be taken to avoid inhaling vapors. It should not be used for sterilizing surgical instruments. This product contains alcohol and poses a fire risk; avoid using it near flames and ensure that equipment is dry before using. The skin should be thoroughly cleansed with soap or cleansing agents before use, and when using it soaked in fabric or gauze, it is advisable to supply new solution to maintain concentration adequately. Prior to using this medication, carefully check for any history of hypersensitivity or allergies to chlorhexidine to prepare for severe allergic reactions.
