Precautions

This medication should not be used by pregnant women, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can pose serious risks to the fetus. It should not be administered to patients with certain conditions, such as liver impairment, obstructive biliary disease, severe hypotension, heart failure, and unstable state after acute myocardial infarction. Caution should be exercised in administering to patients with primary aldosteronism, certain heart valve diseases, impaired liver function, gastrointestinal diseases, renal artery hypertension, kidney failure, and elderly patients. When taking this medication, side effects such as dizziness or peripheral edema may occur, and serious adverse reactions such as syncope may rarely occur, so caution is advised. This medication should be avoided during pregnancy, and if pregnancy is confirmed, it should be discontinued immediately and replaced with alternative treatments. In patients with insufficient body fluids or sodium, hypotension may occur, so the state should be carefully checked before administration, and appropriate measures should be taken if hypotension occurs. Due to the risk of hyperkalemia, potassium levels in the blood should be monitored regularly, and caution should be exercised when used with potassium supplements or potassium-containing medications. Patients with impaired renal function should have renal function changes monitored regularly, and patients with heart disease should be careful to prevent blood pressure from dropping too low. This medication may cause drowsiness or dizziness; hence, caution is needed when driving or operating dangerous machinery. When used in combination with other medications, there may be potential interactions, so it is important to consult healthcare professionals, especially when using with certain diuretics, lithium, digoxin, warfarin, and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, to closely monitor blood concentration and renal function. In case of overdose, symptoms such as hypotension, tachycardia, dizziness, or in severe cases, acute kidney failure may occur, so immediate medical attention is necessary. The safety and efficacy in children have not been sufficiently established, and its use is therefore not recommended for pediatric patients. Elderly patients may be more sensitive to treatment, so dosage adjustments and monitoring are necessary. When storing this medication, keep it out of the reach of children and avoid transferring the product to other containers.
