This medication is used to effectively control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy with Amlodipine or Telmisartan.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage for this medication is 1 tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). In patients with renal impairment, mild and moderate cases do not require dosage adjustment, but patients with severe renal impairment should start with a lower dose and gradually increase. For patients with liver impairment, the daily dosage of Telmisartan should not exceed 40 milligrams.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under the age of 18 have not been established; therefore, the administration of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus, especially when taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, and should not be used by pregnant women or women who may become pregnant. Individuals who are allergic to the components of this medicine or have specific health conditions such as certain heart diseases, liver dysfunction, hypotension, or unstable heart failure after acute myocardial infarction should not take this medication.
