How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water irrespective of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time daily (e.g., morning). 40/5 mg: This is administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 5 mg amlodipine or 40 mg telmisartan. 80/5 mg: This is administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 5 mg amlodipine or this medication 40/5 mg.

Precautions

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can have serious effects on the fetus.
