Precautions

This medication is used to treat erectile dysfunction and benign prostatic hyperplasia, and it is essential to consult healthcare professionals for appropriate evaluation before use. Especially in cases of cardiovascular diseases or conditions that may strain the heart, a heart condition should be checked before engaging in sexual activity. If an erection lasts more than 4 hours, immediate medical assistance should be sought, as failure to treat could result in penile tissue damage or permanent erectile dysfunction. Taking this medication with nitrate-containing agents can significantly lower blood pressure, thus nitrate medications should not be taken while on this medication. Patients with significant cardiovascular diseases such as myocardial infarction, acute cardiac arrest, unstable angina, or heart failure should not use this medication. If taken with alpha-blockers, there is a risk of hypotension, so if symptoms of dizziness or low blood pressure occur during treatment, consult a healthcare professional immediately. Patients with severely impaired kidney or liver function should use this medication cautiously, and dosage adjustments may be needed under a doctor's guidance. This medication should not be used in children or women, and the safety for pregnant women has not been established. Side effects such as headache, dizziness, flushing, myalgia, dyspepsia, etc., may occur during treatment, so inform healthcare professionals if symptoms are severe. It is advisable not to use this medication in conjunction with other erectile dysfunction treatments, and caution is needed as blood pressure reduction and dizziness may increase when taken with alcohol. In case of overdose, contact a healthcare professional immediately for appropriate treatment and do not chew or break the capsule before use. Store in a place out of reach of children, and ensure not to transfer it to another container.
