Patients who have previously experienced allergic reactions from this medication or are taking other drugs should use it cautiously. Patients with kidney or liver function issues should also use it with caution, and patients receiving treatment should consult a doctor before taking it. Patients with low phosphate levels or metabolic abnormalities involving fats, hyperlipidemia, diabetic dyslipidemia, or pancreatitis should also use it carefully. If symptoms of allergy such as rash or itching occur while taking this medication, use should be stopped immediately and a specialist should be consulted. Rarely, symptoms such as drowsiness, dizziness, headache, or fatigue may occur; if these symptoms appear, discontinue use and consult a physician. Constipation or dry mouth may also occur rarely, so caution is needed. Rapid heart rate may occur rarely, and liver function test values may rise. Patients with high blood pressure, elderly patients, or those with heart or kidney issues, or edema, must consult a doctor or pharmacist before taking this medication. During treatment, if symptoms such as decreased urine output, swelling of the face or limbs, heaviness of eyelids, stiffness of hands, raised blood pressure, or headache occur, discontinue use immediately and consult a specialist. Long-term use may lead to side effects such as hypokalemia, increased blood pressure, fluid retention, edema, and weight gain, so blood potassium levels should be monitored regularly. Hypokalemia may lead to muscular weakness, limb cramps, or paralysis, so if such symptoms arise, use should be discontinued. Combining with potassium-containing drugs or medications containing licorice, as well as loop and thiazide diuretics, increases the risk of side effects, so caution is required. It is essential to follow the prescribed dosage and administration; if symptoms do not improve after taking for more than two weeks, consult a specialist. Avoid long-term use, and patients with a history of kidney disease must consult before use. Patients at risk of fat overload should check their blood lipid levels and adjust dosage as necessary. Do not take this medication in combination with gastrointestinal analgesics or antispasmodics. This medication should not be administered to children under the age of 15, nor to pregnant or breastfeeding women.
