Treatment of peripheral artery circulation disorders and cognitive dysfunctions (dizziness, tinnitus, etc.)
This medicine is used in the treatment of intermittent claudication due to peripheral artery circulation disorders. It also helps relieve symptoms of dizziness and vascular and degenerative tinnitus (ear ringing). Moreover, it is effective in treating organic cognitive dysfunction related to dementia symptoms such as tinnitus, headache, memory decline, concentration difficulties, depression, and dizziness. This medicine is used to improve blood circulation and activate brain function to alleviate symptoms.
For the treatment of peripheral artery circulation disorders, dizziness, and tinnitus (ear ringing) as Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract, take 40 milligrams orally three times a day or 80 milligrams orally twice a day. For the treatment of organic cognitive dysfunction, take 40 to 80 milligrams orally three times a day or 120 milligrams orally twice a day as Ginkgo Leaf Dry Extract. Dosage may be adjusted appropriately based on age and symptoms.
This medicine should not be taken by individuals with specific allergic reactions. It is advisable not to use this medicine in children under the age of 12, as there is insufficient experience with its use in this demographic. Pregnant women should consult a professional before taking this medicine. This medicine contains lactose, so individuals with genetic disorders that affect lactose digestion should avoid it. Anyone with bleeding disorders or who is taking anticoagulant medications should consult a doctor or pharmacist before using this medicine. Nursing women should also consult a professional, as it is uncertain whether the ingredients pass into breast milk. Individuals scheduled for surgery should stop taking this medicine and consult a doctor. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after taking this medicine for more than three months, stop taking it and consult a professional. Gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, and allergic skin reactions may occur, and if any unusual symptoms arise, one should consult a professional immediately. Side effects such as dizziness or itching have also been reported, so caution is advised. Anaphylaxis, a severe allergic reaction, may occur, requiring immediate medical attention in the event of severe adverse reactions. This medicine is not a treatment for hypertension; therefore, it is safest for hypertensive patients to refrain from using it.
