Precautions

This medication comes in a glass ampoule, so care must be taken when opening the container to avoid glass shards entering. Special attention should be given when using this medication for children and the elderly. This medication should not be used in patients with certain conditions. For example, it should not be used in cases of lactate acidosis, methanol poisoning, individuals who cannot properly digest fructose and sorbitol, certain enzyme deficiency patients, and those with severe renal dysfunction.
