This medication is used to effectively lower blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with telmisartan or amlodipine.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day if possible (e.g., in the morning). In patients with severe renal impairment, treatment should start at a lower dose, and the dose should be gradually increased. In patients with mild or moderate liver impairment, the daily dosage of telmisartan should not exceed 40 mg.

Child dose

Precautions

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can cause serious harm to the fetus. If this medication is taken during pregnancy, it should be discontinued as soon as possible, and if necessary, replaced with another safe medication. This medication should not be administered to patients with certain diseases, such as those with severe liver or heart conditions, women of childbearing potential, or nursing mothers.
