Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., morning). For patients with renal impairment, initiation of treatment should start with a lower dose in severe cases, with gradual titration. For patients with liver impairment, the daily dosage should not exceed 40 mg. Elderly patients should start treatment with a lower dose and gradually increase the dosage.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy have not been established for pediatric patients under 18 years of age, hence use of this medication is not recommended.

This medication should not be used during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters, as it can cause serious harm to the fetus. This medication is contraindicated in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, and in patients with severe issues with the liver or heart, or those who are allergic to the active ingredient or similar components. Patients with compromised liver function, heart valve issues, reduced kidney function, and the elderly should use this medication with special caution. Common side effects include dizziness and swelling, and while serious side effects may occur rarely, immediate consultation with a physician is required upon observing any unusual symptoms. Blood pressure may drop too low, so patients, especially those who are deficient in fluids or salt, should check their condition before taking the medication and follow the physician's instructions. Due to the risk of increased potassium levels, potassium-rich drugs or supplements should be monitored with regular blood tests for potassium levels during use. Patients with weak kidney function should regularly monitor their kidney function and electrolyte levels while taking this medication. Due to strong blood pressure-lowering effects, patients should be cautious of dizziness or drowsiness while driving or operating dangerous machinery. Drug interactions may occur when taken with other medications, so inform healthcare professionals of all other medications being taken. In case of overdose, severe hypotension or cardiac issues can occur, requiring immediate medical treatment. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in children, and dosage adjustments may be necessary in the elderly. This medication should be kept out of reach of children and should only be opened immediately before administration.

Serious side effects

• Hives, severe swelling (angioedema), chest tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweat, paleness, severe allergic reactions
• Severe rashes accompanied by high fever, blisters, peeling skin, pain of mucous membranes in the mouth/eyes, severe skin reactions
• Respiratory distress, asthma attacks, cough with fever and breathing difficulties
• Jaundice (yellowing of skin or eyes), profound lethargy, liver dysfunction (jaundice)
• Sudden and severe headaches, thunderclap headache, seizures

This medication is sensitive to light and should be stored in a tightly sealed container that protects it from light. The storage temperature should be maintained between 1 degree and 30 degrees Celsius for optimal efficacy.
