Used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not sufficiently controlled by monotherapy with telmisartan or amlodipine.

How to take

Adult dose

Take 1 tablet once daily, with or without food, preferably at the same time each day (e.g., in the morning). 40/5 mg: Administer to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 5 mg amlodipine or 40 mg telmisartan. 80/5 mg: Administer to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 5 mg amlodipine or this medication 40/5 mg.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years of age have not been established; therefore, administration of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters. Therefore, it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Additionally, individuals with allergies to this medication or those with certain heart diseases, severe liver disorders, hypotension, or significantly decreased kidney function should not take it.
