Precautions

This medication can cause severe harm to the fetus when taken during pregnancy, especially in the second and third trimesters; therefore, it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. Persons with allergies to this drug's active ingredients or related compounds, severe liver impairment, low blood pressure, or specific heart diseases should not use this medication. Patients with impaired liver function or gastrointestinal diseases should use this medication with caution, and those with poor kidney function should consult a doctor before administration. Side effects like dizziness or edema may occur while taking this medication, and in severe cases, fainting or cardiac issues may arise, so medical advice should be sought immediately if unusual symptoms appear. Do not start this medication during pregnancy, and if pregnancy is confirmed, discontinue it immediately and switch to another safe medication. As low blood pressure may occur, it is important to check the patient’s condition thoroughly before taking this medication, especially if there is a deficit in fluids or salt, and appropriate treatment should be obtained if symptoms of low blood pressure arise. Due to the risk of elevated potassium levels in the blood, patients at high risk for hyperkalemia should have regular blood tests, and care should be exercised when combining this medication with high-potassium foods or drugs. Patients with poor kidney function should regularly monitor their kidney status through blood tests while taking this medication. This drug can cause blood pressure to drop too low when taken with other antihypertensive agents, so blood pressure and kidney function should be frequently monitored when used concurrently. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur during driving or operating dangerous machinery while taking this medication, so caution is advised. Additionally, this medication may interact with specific drugs, so if taking other medications, it is essential to inform a physician or pharmacist. Overdose can lead to low blood pressure, dizziness, heart problems, and should prompt an immediate visit to a medical facility for appropriate treatment. This medication is not recommended for children, and elderly patients should adjust dosages and use caution when taking it. Finally, this medication should be stored out of reach of children and should not be transferred to another container for safety.
