Precautions

This medication can pose a serious risk to the fetus, especially during the second and third trimesters, so it should not be taken by women who are pregnant or may become pregnant. It should not be used by individuals who have allergies to the active ingredients or similar compounds, those with severe liver or heart issues, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and patients with certain kidney diseases. Patients with primary aldosteronism, valvular heart disease, poor liver function, gastrointestinal diseases, renal vascular problems, those on dialysis, and the elderly should use this medication with special caution. This medication may commonly cause dizziness or swelling in the limbs, and rarely, severe reactions or allergies, such as hypotension and liver function abnormalities, may occur; if any unusual symptoms arise, medical consultation should be sought immediately. This medication should not be used during pregnancy, and if pregnancy is confirmed, it should be discontinued as soon as possible and switched to another safe treatment method. Since this medication has blood pressure-lowering effects, patients with excessively low blood pressure or dehydration should consult a doctor before taking this medication, and blood pressure and kidney function should be monitored regularly during the course of treatment. Additionally, potassium levels may rise, so caution is required when taking it alongside potassium-rich foods, potassium supplements, or certain diuretics. This medication may interact with other drugs, so patients must inform their doctor or pharmacist, especially when taking heart medications, diuretics, lithium, warfarin, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Dizziness or drowsiness may occur when driving or operating machinery, so caution is urged. In cases of overdose, severe hypotension or heart problems may occur, and immediate medical attention is required, as this medication is not removed by dialysis, necessitating specialized treatment. When storing, keep it out of reach of children, store in a tightly sealed container, and do not transfer to another container.
