This medication is used to effectively lower blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension who do not achieve adequate blood pressure control with monotherapy using either telmisartan or amlodipine.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day if possible (e.g., morning). If blood pressure is not adequately controlled, the dosage may be adjusted as follows: - 40/5 mg: For patients whose blood pressure is not appropriately controlled with 5 mg of amlodipine or 40 mg of telmisartan - 80/5 mg: For patients whose blood pressure is not appropriately controlled with 5 mg of amlodipine.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients under 18 years have not been established and are not recommended for use.

Precautions
