Precautions
This medicine should not be taken by patients with hypercalcemia (excess calcium in the blood), sarcoidosis (a systemic inflammatory disease of unknown cause), or those with kidney disease. If unusual reactions such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, skin rash, irregular heartbeat, or central nervous system symptoms occur during use, immediately discontinue use and consult a specialist. Furthermore, this medicine may cause changes in menstrual cycles or increased bleeding, and women taking estrogen-containing contraceptives or those with a tendency towards thrombosis may have an increased risk of thrombosis.
