When administered, symptoms like nausea, drowsiness, dizziness may occur, so driving or operating dangerous machinery should be avoided. Long-term use may lead to tolerance, requiring higher doses, and sudden cessation may trigger withdrawal symptoms, so dosage should be gradually reduced. This medication can interact with various other drugs, so if other medications are being taken, it is essential to consult with a doctor or pharmacist, especially when used in conjunction with central nervous system depressants, antidepressants, or antipsychotic medications. In case of overdose, serious respiratory depression or seizures may occur, and immediate emergency treatment is essential, with naloxone potentially used as an antidote.
