Vitamin maintenance for patients receiving nutrient infusion and prevention of trauma (surgery, burns, etc.) and severe infections.
This medication helps to adequately maintain vitamins in patients receiving nutritional support via infusion. It is also used to prevent vitamin deficiency in situations such as surgical procedures, severe burns, fractures, other trauma, severe infections, and comatose states. Such treatment helps prevent vitamin deficiency, contributing to overall recovery and health improvement.
Children over 11 years and adults: After gently shaking 5 mL of this drug with distilled water for injection until dissolved, mix it with 500 to 1,000 mL of intravenous dextrose injection, saline injection, or similar infusion solution and administer 1 intravenous drip once a day.

This drug should be administered with caution to women within the first three months of pregnancy or those who may become pregnant, as administering more than 5,000 IU of vitamin A daily may cause congenital defects. Should not be used in patients with allergies to this drug or its components, or in patients with hemophilia. Patients with hypercalcemia or impaired renal function should be monitored for worsening symptoms due to the vitamin D included in this drug and should administer it cautiously through blood tests. Children over 11 years old or patients with an allergic disposition should also use it with caution. In case of overdose, hypersensitivity reactions to vitamins A and D may occur, and serious allergic reactions such as low blood pressure or difficulty in breathing may also occur, so immediate cessation and appropriate treatment should be sought if any abnormal symptoms appear. It is advisable to undergo testing to check for accumulation of vitamins A and D if used for a long time. This medication may interact with certain drugs, so consult a healthcare professional if you are taking other medications. Women who are pregnant or nursing may face the risk of side effects from vitamin overdose, so it is essential to adhere strictly to the dosage. Use in children under 11 years is not recommended as safety and efficacy have not been established. Elderly patients may require caution in dosage adjustment due to declining bodily functions. This medication may affect urine test results, which should be considered during testing. Use immediately after opening and discard any remaining product, and store shielded from light in a cool place, as it contains light-sensitive components. Injecting without dilution may cause dizziness or fainting; make sure to dilute before use. Store out of reach of children, keeping it in its original container, and ensure it does not freeze.
