This medication is used for patients who need to take both Pimasartan and Rosuvastatin concurrently. Pimasartan primarily helps in controlling blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. Rosuvastatin acts as an adjunct to dietary therapy in patients with hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia, lowering blood cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol levels, which helps delay the progression of atherosclerosis. Additionally, it reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases, preventing complications that can arise after strokes, myocardial infarctions, or arterial revascularization procedures. Thus, this medication is effectively used in the treatment of patients with both hypertension and dyslipidemia.
