This medication helps to control blood pressure in patients with essential hypertension. Therefore, it is effective in managing blood pressure and preventing cardiovascular diseases.

How to take

Precautions

This medication can cause severe harm to the fetus and newborn, especially during pregnancy, so it should be discontinued immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Individuals who are allergic to this medication or its ingredients, women who are pregnant or likely to become pregnant, and women who are breastfeeding should not take this medication. Patients with severe liver dysfunction or bile flow problems, hereditary angioedema, and those with diabetes or severe kidney impairment should consult a physician before using this medication. Elderly patients or those with high potassium levels, slightly impaired liver function, or valvular heart disease need to take this medication cautiously to avoid excessive lowering of blood pressure. During treatment with this medication, unusual symptoms such as infections, blood abnormalities, hyperkalemia, hypoglycemia, dizziness, dyspnea, gastrointestinal disturbances, liver function abnormalities, skin rashes, myalgia, and renal dysfunction may occur, and any symptoms should be reported to healthcare professionals immediately. If angioedema occurs, it can lead to dyspnea, so treatment should be stopped immediately, and medical care should be sought. Patients with impaired renal function or low blood volume should have blood tests and status checks before taking this medication; if symptoms of hypotension occur, they should be laid down and receive necessary treatment. This medication can interact with other antihypertensive agents, diuretics, lithium, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), so patients should consult their physician or pharmacist about other medications they are taking. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should avoid this medication, and if breastfeeding, it is recommended to stop breastfeeding. The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established for children under 18, so it is not recommended for use in this age group. Elderly patients should carefully monitor dosages and conditions to prevent excessively low blood pressure. In cases of overdose, symptoms such as hypotension, dizziness, and worsening kidney function may occur, so immediate medical assistance should be sought. Blood dialysis will not remove this medication, so caution is required. This medication should be stored out of reach of children and kept sealed until just before use.
