This medication is used to treat conjunctival epithelial disorders caused by endogenous diseases such as Sjögren's syndrome, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, and dry eye syndrome, as well as exogenous diseases resulting from postoperative conditions, drug-induced damage, trauma, and contact lens wear.

How to apply drops

Adult eye dose

0.1%, 0.3%: Instill 1 drop 5-6 times a day. Adjust as necessary according to symptoms. Typically, the 0.1% preparation is administered, and if the effect is insufficient in severe conditions, the 0.3% formulation is administered.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients who have an allergic reaction to protein-based medications or any of this drug's components. Symptoms such as eye itching, irritation, redness, conjunctivitis, and keratitis may occur. If such symptoms occur, discontinue use immediately and seek appropriate treatment. Inflammation of the eyelids or dermatitis may occasionally occur; if these symptoms develop, discontinue use and consult a doctor. Caution should be taken when using with other eye drops such as steroids or antibiotics, as side effects may be more pronounced. This medication should not be used simultaneously with other eye drops; if they must be used together, administer other eye drops first and then wait 30 minutes before using this medication. It should only be used as eye drops and care should be taken to avoid contact between the tip of the container and the eyelid or eyelashes; otherwise, the solution may become contaminated. For single-use products, discard the first 1-2 drops upon opening to remove container debris. To prevent contamination, do not share with others, and discard any remaining solution and the container immediately after use. Store out of reach of children, avoid direct sunlight, and keep in a cool place. Do not transfer the medication to another container, and take precautions to prevent misuse and maintain the quality of the product.
