This medication is used to treat myocardial ischemic symptoms caused by hypertension, stable angina, and variant angina, which are types of coronary artery disease. It also helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients who have recently been diagnosed with coronary artery disease through angiography and do not have heart failure or have a cardiac output of 40% or more. Additionally, it assists in reducing the risks associated with coronary artery revascularization. Therefore, it is effectively used in the management of these cardiovascular diseases.
