This medication is used for painful muscle spasms associated with musculoskeletal diseases, such as adhesive capsulitis, periarthritis of the shoulder, and lower back pain. It is also effective for spastic paralysis caused by neurological disorders and helps improve various central nervous system issues such as cerebrovascular disorders, spastic spinal paralysis, cervical spondylosis, postoperative sequelae, trauma sequelae, cerebral palsy, etc. Overall, it is used to relieve muscle tension and rigidity, facilitating the patient's movement, reducing pain, and improving the quality of life.

How to take

Adult dose

Eperisone hydrochloride: 50 mg taken orally three times a day after meals. The dose may be adjusted appropriately based on age and symptoms.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in certain patients. For example, it should not be administered to patients with hypersensitivity to this drug or those with myasthenia gravis. Additionally, since this drug contains lactose, it should not be used in patients with hereditary lactose intolerance or related conditions. Patients with a history of drug hypersensitivity or liver function issues should use this medication with caution, as liver function may deteriorate. While taking this medication, serious allergic reactions, such as shock, may rarely occur, so symptoms should be closely monitored.
