How to take

Adult dose

This medication should be taken orally as 1 tablet weekly. Food may interfere with the absorption of this medication, so take it at least 30 minutes before breakfast or at least 2 hours apart from meals or drinks throughout the day. When taking the medication, it should be taken with a sufficient amount of pure water (170-230 mL) while sitting upright, and it should not be chewed or sucked. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy in children and adolescents have not been established.

Precautions

This medication can irritate the gastrointestinal mucosa, increasing the risk of issues such as esophagitis or esophageal ulcers. If you experience difficulty swallowing, chest pain, or heartburn while taking this medication, you should immediately stop taking it and consult your doctor. This medication must be taken with a sufficient amount of water, and you should remain upright for at least 30 minutes after taking it. If you do not follow these guidelines, you may exacerbate esophageal irritation.
