It is important to monitor Vitamin A and D levels if used for a prolonged period. This drug may interact with certain medications; therefore, patients taking other medications must consult an expert. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should adhere to appropriate dosing to avoid the risk of side effects from vitamin overdose. Use in children under the age of 11 is not recommended as safety and efficacy have not been sufficiently established. Elderly patients may have diminished bodily functions, thus dosage should be adjusted accordingly and used with caution.
