Alcapone Tablets (Cholin Alfoscerate)

Adult dose

Administer 400 mg of choline alfoscerate orally per dose, 2～3 times daily. The dose may be adjusted as appropriate according to symptoms.

This drug should not be used by individuals allergic to this drug or its ingredients. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this drug. Nausea may occur when taking this medication, which is due to its effect on the neurotransmitter dopamine. If nausea is severe, the dosage should be reduced. Caution is needed as it may affect the gastrointestinal system and cause gastritis or other gastrointestinal disorders. There may also be mental drowsiness or difficulty sleeping, and sometimes anger or irritability may occur. Additionally, neurological symptoms such as seizures or excessive motor activity may appear, so abnormal symptoms should be closely monitored. This drug should be stored in a safe place out of the reach of children, and should always be kept in its original container to prevent quality degradation or accidents.
