Collyrin Tablet (Choline Alphoscerate)

Adult dose

Administer 400 mg of choline alfoscerate orally per dose, 2～3 times daily. The dose may be adjusted as appropriate according to symptoms.

This medication should not be used by patients with allergies to this drug or any of its ingredients. Additionally, it is safest for women who are pregnant or may become pregnant to avoid taking this medication. Nausea may occur when taking this medication, which could be due to the action of dopamine in the brain. If such symptoms occur, the dosage of the medication should be reduced. It can affect the digestive system, potentially leading to gastritis or other gastrointestinal disorders, so caution is warranted. Moreover, it may affect the central nervous system, leading to drowsiness, difficulty falling asleep, irritability or agitation, and in severe cases, seizures or excessive motor activity symptoms. This medication should be stored out of reach of children, and transferring the medication to another container should be avoided as it may cause accidents or diminish the quality of the medication.
