Treatment of skin fungal infections such as athlete's foot and tinea cruris caused by dermatophytes
This medication is used for conditions caused by fungi that inhabit the skin, including athlete's foot, tinea cruris (jock itch), and tinea corporis.
Once daily, apply an appropriate amount to the affected area.
This medication should not be used by individuals who have experienced allergic reactions to any of its components. It is also advised that pregnant women, women who may become pregnant, and nursing mothers refrain from using this medication. Additionally, children and infants should not use this medication. This medication should not be applied to mucous membrane areas such as the eyes or around the eyes, mouth, nasal passages, vagina, scrotum, and external genitalia. It is best to avoid using it on areas with eczema or those that are moist or have severe wounds. It is also not advisable to use this medication on nails or the scalp. During the use of this medication, breastfeeding should be discontinued, as its components may be excreted in breast milk and affect the infant. Individuals receiving treatment from a doctor or those with a history of drug allergies should consult a professional before using this medication. Caution is also necessary for those with a family history of allergic conditions. Moreover, if it is uncertain whether the symptoms are eczema, athlete's foot, tinea cruris, or tinea corporis, it is advisable to seek a professional diagnosis. Consultation is required before using this medication if symptoms are present on the face or extensive areas, or if there are pus-filled wounds. This medication contains a component called propylene glycol, and individuals allergic to or having had hypersensitive reactions to this substance should use it cautiously. If symptoms such as skin rash, redness, itching, swelling, irritation, burning sensation, skin peeling, dryness, or cracking occur after use, discontinue use immediately and consult a professional. If symptoms do not improve or worsen after two weeks of use, seek medical attention. It is essential to adhere strictly to the prescribed method of use and dosage, and this medication should not be used on areas that are not clean. Care should be taken not to touch the eyes or mucous membranes with hands that have come into contact with the medication, and if the medication gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with cold or lukewarm water and seek ophthalmology care. This medication is for external use only and should not be used for other purposes. Due to some reports of mild photosensitivity in animal studies, caution should be exercised when applying it to areas exposed to sunlight. When storing this medication, keep it in a lightproof container and store it in a cool place, out of the reach of children. Do not transfer it to another container, and do not use expired products; it is best to use it as soon as possible after opening.
