Precautions

This medication is a corticosteroid for ocular use; prolonged use can lead to serious ocular issues such as glaucoma, vision loss, and cataracts. Caution is especially advised for patients with suspected glaucoma or eye infections. This medication should not be used by patients with certain infections such as viral infections of the eye, fungal infections, or conjunctivitis. Additionally, administration should be avoided in individuals with known allergies to its ingredients. During use, if symptoms of increased intraocular pressure, eye pain, redness, or vision changes occur, the patient should consult a physician immediately. This medication is for ophthalmic use only, and if used for more than 14 days, regular intraocular pressure checks and eye condition assessments are necessary. Monitoring of intraocular pressure is particularly important for children or patients who may have difficulty cooperating. Care should be taken to prevent contamination of the suspension by avoiding contact of the dropper with other substances, and if eye inflammation or irritation worsens during use, consult a professional. Contact lens wearers should remove lenses while using this medication, as wearing lenses is not recommended. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult a physician regarding the use of this medication, as teratogenic effects have been reported in animal studies. The safety and efficacy in pediatric patients have not been sufficiently established, so caution is recommended. This medication should be stored away from direct sunlight in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children. If it is a single-use product, it should be used immediately after opening, and any remaining solution should be discarded. Shake well before use.
