If there is a history of hypersensitivity to the drug, careful consideration should be taken prior to administration. When administered as an intravenous injection, the drug may cause pain at the injection site; therefore, it should be injected slowly whenever possible. It is important not to reuse leftover solution to prevent bacterial contamination. When opening the ampule, it should be oriented with the marked side facing up and the opposite side gently pressed for a clean cut; the upper part of the ampule should be wiped with alcohol cotton to prevent foreign matter contamination.
