How to take

Adult dose

For patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with telmisartan alone, take once daily with or without food, along with a beverage. Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide combination 40/12.5mg can be administered to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 40mg of telmisartan. Telmisartan/Hydrochlorothiazide combination 80/12.5mg can be given to patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with 80mg of telmisartan.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication have not been established in individuals under the age of 18.

Precautions

This medication should not be used in pregnant women, particularly during the second and third trimesters, as it can cause serious damage to the fetus. Patients who are allergic to any of the components of this medication or have certain liver or kidney diseases should not take this medication. Elderly patients or those with high potassium levels, reduced liver function, or heart disease should use this medication cautiously.
