This drug is contraindicated in patients with specific diseases or conditions, such as those with anuria or allergy to certain medications, severe liver dysfunction, or renal dysfunction, as well as pregnant women. In particular, this drug should not be used in patients with severely impaired kidney function or those undergoing dialysis. This medication lowers blood pressure and must be used cautiously in patients with hypotension or reduced blood volume; special care must also be taken with patients having liver or kidney issues. Due to the presence of hydrochlorothiazide, electrolyte imbalances (potassium, sodium, etc.) or changes in blood sugar and uric acid levels may occur, so regular blood tests are necessary. This drug may interact with other medications, so it is important to inform the doctor if you are taking potassium-sparing diuretics, potassium supplements, certain antihypertensives, antidiabetic agents, lithium, or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Sudden dizziness, drowsiness, severe cough, swelling, or skin rashes may occur, so consult a physician if these symptoms appear. Experience with this drug in children and adolescents is insufficient, so it is advisable not to administer it to them. Elderly patients may experience adverse reactions more frequently with this drug, thus caution is advised in their use. This drug may cause dizziness or drowsiness while driving or operating machinery, especially during the initial phase of treatment or after a dose adjustment, so caution is required.
