Adult dose

The recommended dosage for adults is 1 tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with renal impairment, a starting dose of 4 mg of Candesartan Cilexetil is recommended as the initial dose, thus initial treatment with this medication is not advisable. In patients with liver impairment, a starting dose of 2 mg of Candesartan Cilexetil is recommended.

Child dose

The safety and efficacy of this medication in adolescents and children under 18 years of age have not been established, and its use is not recommended.

This medicine should not be administered to pregnant women, as it poses a risk of serious harm or death to the fetus or newborn. If pregnancy is confirmed, discontinue use immediately. It should not be used in patients who are allergic to this medication or have certain liver or kidney diseases, are pregnant or breastfeeding, and in patients with certain heart conditions. Particular caution is required for elderly patients, patients with low blood pressure, and patients with high serum potassium levels when using this medicine, and regular check-ups are necessary in cases of impaired kidney function. Due to its blood pressure-lowering effects, this medication may cause symptoms of hypotension, and side effects such as dizziness, headaches, fatigue, edema, and gastrointestinal disturbances may occasionally occur. Patients with heart failure or impaired kidney function should regularly monitor blood pressure, kidney function, and serum potassium levels while taking this medication, and caution should be exercised when driving or operating machinery while on this medication. There may be interactions when this medicine is used in combination with other antihypertensive drugs or certain diuretics, potassium-sparing diuretics, etc., so it is essential to consult a physician or pharmacist before use. Pregnant women or women planning to become pregnant, as well as breastfeeding women, should avoid this medication, and if unavoidable, they should consult a specialist adequately.
