Essential hypertension is used when blood pressure is not adequately controlled with Candesartan Cilexetil or Amlodipine monotherapy. In this case, the combination of these two medications helps effectively lower and manage blood pressure. This can reduce the risk of cardiovascular complications caused by hypertension. Therefore, this medication is used for the treatment of essential hypertension.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dose of this medication is 1 tablet once daily, to be taken with water regardless of meals. It is advisable to take it at the same time every day (e.g., morning). For patients with renal impairment, an initial dose of 4 mg once daily of Candesartan Cilexetil is recommended, so it is not advisable to administer this medication as initial therapy. Precautions
