This medication is used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with either Candesartan Cilexetil or Amlodipine monotherapy, to effectively lower blood pressure.

How to take

Adult dose

The recommended dosage for this medication is one tablet once daily, taken with water regardless of meals. It is recommended to take it at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning). For patients with renal impairment, the recommended initial dosage of Candesartan Cilexetil is 4 mg once daily, so it is not advisable to administer this medication during initial treatment. For patients with liver impairment, the recommended initial dosage of Candesartan Cilexetil is 2 mg once daily.

Child dose

Safety and efficacy have not been established for adolescents and children under the age of 18, so the administration of this medication is not recommended.

Precautions

This medication can cause serious harm to the fetus and newborn during pregnancy, so treatment must be stopped immediately if pregnancy is confirmed. Patients with hypersensitivity to this medicine, pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients with severe liver disease or cholestasis, patients with severe renal impairment, and patients with hereditary angioedema should not take this medication.
