This medication is used to treat ischemic conditions of the heart muscle caused by stable and variant angina due to hypertension and partial blockage or sudden narrowing of the coronary arteries. It also reduces the risk of hospitalization due to angina in patients recently diagnosed with coronary artery disease through angiography who have no heart failure and a cardiac output greater than 40%. Moreover, it lowers the risks associated with coronary artery revascularization procedures. These benefits effectively improve heart health.
