Adult dose
For gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer: typically, 10 mg is administered orally once a day. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg may be administered orally once a day. It is given for up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: administer 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. If untreated after 8 weeks, an additional 8 weeks of 10 mg or 20 mg may be administered.

This medication helps treat ulcers in the stomach and duodenum and is also used for relief of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and for long-term management. Additionally, it enhances the treatment effect when used in combination with antibiotics for patients with gastrointestinal ulcers infected by Helicobacter pylori, and it is effective for conditions such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome characterized by excessive gastric acid secretion. It is used for various gastrointestinal diseases.

How to take

Adult dose

For gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer: typically, 10 mg is administered orally once a day. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg may be administered orally once a day. It is given for up to 8 weeks for gastric ulcers and up to 6 weeks for duodenal ulcers. For erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: administer 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used in patients with allergies to specific medications or ingredients.
