This medication is effective for gastric and duodenal ulcers and is used to alleviate symptoms in patients with erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). It is also helpful for long-term maintenance therapy for GERD and is used in combination with antibiotics for treating gastrointestinal ulcers infected with Helicobacter pylori. It is also effective for patients with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It is used to treat various gastrointestinal diseases and improve patients' symptoms.

How to take

Adult dose

Gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers: Administer 10 mg orally once daily. Depending on symptoms, 20 mg may be administered orally once daily. Erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease: Administer 10 mg or 20 mg once daily for 4 to 8 weeks. Precautions

This medication should not be used by patients with allergies or hypersensitivity to specific ingredients. Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding should not take this medication. Extra caution is required for patients with impaired liver function, elderly patients, and those allergic to certain pigments. If symptoms of allergy, such as rash, hives, or itching, develop during treatment, immediately discontinue use. Caution is necessary as symptoms can occur related to the heart or blood vessels. Digestive issues, neurological disorders, respiratory symptoms, muscle and joint pain, and skin problems may occur. Prolonged use may increase the risk of fractures due to osteoporosis, so consult a physician if necessary. Interactions may occur when using with certain medications, so consult a professional if taking other drugs. Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been confirmed, so it is recommended not to use this medication. During treatment, adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration, and consult medical personnel immediately if any unusual symptoms appear.
