How to take

Adult dose

This medication can be taken regardless of meals but is recommended to be taken at the same time every day. For hypertensive adults: The initial and maintenance dose is recommended to be 50 mg orally once daily as Losartan Potassium. Precautions

Hives, angioedema (swelling of lips, eyelids, face), difficulty breathing, laryngeal/glottic swelling that may cause vascular occlusion, severe allergic reactions, oligohydramnios, impaired skull formation in newborns, anuria, hypotension, renal failure, worsening kidney function, severe skin reactions (severe rash, blistering, skin peeling, oral/ocular mucosal pain), vasculitis, anaphylactoid syndrome, liver function abnormalities, severe liver impairment, acute.

Mild side effects

Muscle cramps, lower back pain, leg pain, dizziness, nasal congestion, upper respiratory infection, sinusitis, nausea, diarrhea, indigestion, cough, sinus problems, pharyngitis, muscle pain, insomnia, headache, weakness/fatigue, swelling/bloating, abdominal pain, chest pain, swelling of lips/eyelids, facial rash, palm skin peeling, hemolysis, facial edema, fever, orthostatic effects, syncope, angina, second-degree AV block, hypotension, arrhythmia accompanied by myocardial infarction and atrial fibrillation.
