Used for patients with essential hypertension whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled with monotherapy of either amlodipine or losartan. This medication effectively manages hypertension, reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications and helping to improve the patient's health status.

Precautions

This medication can cause severe harm to the fetus, especially if taken during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy, and should be discontinued immediately upon confirmation of pregnancy. Patients with decreased intravascular effective blood volume, such as those on diuretics, may experience symptoms of hypotension when starting this medication and should be monitored closely. Dizziness can occur due to the blood pressure-lowering effect; caution should be exercised when performing hazardous activities such as working at heights or driving.
