This medication is used for patients who must take both amlodipine (esamlodipine) and atorvastatin. Amlodipine treats hypertension and coronary artery disease, as well as myocardial ischemia caused by stable and variant angina, and reduces the risk of hospitalization for angina or coronary revascularization in patients without heart failure. Atorvastatin reduces the risk of various cardiovascular diseases, particularly lowering the risk of myocardial infarction, stroke, hospitalization related to angina and congestive heart failure. It also helps to improve cholesterol and lipid levels in patients with hypercholesterolemia and dyslipidemia. By taking both medications together, cardiovascular health can be effectively managed, and the risk of related complications can be reduced.
