Chronic persistent hepatitis refers to a condition where SGPT levels are persistently elevated in liver function tests. This disease is a form of chronic hepatitis characterized by prolonged inflammation in the liver, leading to hepatocyte damage and functional decline. It can be caused mainly by viral infections, alcohol abuse, or other hepatotoxic substances. Treatment varies depending on the cause of hepatitis but aims to improve liver function and reduce inflammation. This medication is used for chronic persistent hepatitis to improve liver function and treat liver damage.

When taking this medication, it is essential to strictly adhere to the prescribed usage and dosage, and if symptoms do not improve or adverse symptoms appear even after 8 weeks of use, the medication should be discontinued immediately and the patient should consult a doctor or pharmacist. It is important to keep this medication out of reach of children. Pregnant women or women who may become pregnant should preferably not use this medication, as harmful effects on the fetus have been reported in animal studies.
