Improvement of hypertension and myocardial ischemia (stable angina, variant angina)
This medication is used for cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, stable angina, and variant angina. It is particularly effective in treating myocardial ischemia caused by fixed coronary occlusion or vascular spasms. It is used to prevent cardiovascular symptoms and complications and to improve the quality of life for patients.
This medication should be taken with adequate amounts of water. Amlodipine is administered orally once daily at a dose of 2.5 mg, which may be increased to a maximum of 5 mg per day depending on the patient's response. The dosage may be adjusted appropriately based on symptoms.
