Hypertension refers to a condition where blood pressure continuously exceeds the normal range, and treating it can reduce the risk of heart and vascular diseases. Particularly in patients with type 2 diabetes accompanied by hypertension, the risk of kidney disease is high, making the protection of kidney function important. This medication helps prevent the progression of kidney disease in diabetic patients while treating hypertension. Thus, it is effectively used in managing hypertension and related kidney complications.
