This is because the risk of bleeding may increase in conditions with a high risk of bleeding, such as hemophilia, capillary disorders, gastrointestinal ulcers, and urinary tract bleeding. Women who are pregnant or may become pregnant should not take this medication as animal studies have shown potential harm to the fetus. Women who are menstruating or patients with a tendency for bleeding should use this medication with caution due to the risk of worsening bleeding. Patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents should be cautious as the risk of bleeding may increase when taken with this medication. Patients with significantly impaired kidney function should use this drug cautiously as it may not be adequately excreted from the body. Elderly patients may have weakened kidney and liver function, which could increase the risk of elevated blood concentration of this medication; therefore, it is advisable to start with a lower dose and closely monitor their condition. During the course of this medication, severe bleeding symptoms such as gastrointestinal bleeding, cerebral hemorrhage, and subcutaneous bleeding should be carefully monitored. If any abnormal symptoms occur, the medication should be discontinued immediately and medical consultation should be sought. Abnormalities in blood cell counts, such as agranulocytosis or thrombocytopenia, may occur; thus, regular blood tests are necessary. Liver function may be impaired, or jaundice may present, so liver function should be periodically assessed. Allergic reactions such as skin rash, urticaria, and itching may occur, and if symptoms appear, the medication should be discontinued. Gastrointestinal symptoms such as vomiting, stomatitis, heartburn, abdominal pain, and diarrhea may occur, and patients should notify healthcare professionals if these symptoms arise. Symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, and chest pain may occur, requiring caution. Neurological symptoms such as drowsiness, headache, and dizziness may occur, so caution is required when driving or operating machinery. The safety of this medication has not been established in children, and it is advisable not to use it in pediatric patients.
