This medication is used for degenerative joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis, as well as for periprosthetic inflammation around the scapulohumeral joint. It also helps alleviate pain due to lower back pain, sciatica, and non-joint-related rheumatism. It reduces joint pain and inflammation in patients, improving their daily living inconveniences.

How to take

Adult dose

As aceclofenac, take 200 mg once a day. Do not chew or crush this tablet; take it as is. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, the lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration.

Precautions

This medication may cause gastrointestinal bleeding in persons who regularly consume more than three alcoholic drinks a day, so be sure to consult a doctor or pharmacist. This medication can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease; therefore, patients with heart disease, hypertension, or diabetes should use it cautiously and for the shortest duration at the lowest effective dose. If cardiovascular symptoms occur while taking this medication, seek medical attention immediately, and patients with a history of cerebrovascular bleeding should be especially careful. This medication can cause serious gastrointestinal side effects like gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforations, so those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases or elderly patients should exercise particular caution. Patients with kidney or liver function issues, hypertension, asthma, or elderly patients should take this medication with special care, following medical advice closely. Various side effects such as dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances, abnormal liver function tests, skin rashes, etc., may occur; consult healthcare professionals immediately if abnormal symptoms appear. Regular blood tests and examinations of liver and kidney function are required for those using this medication for an extended period, and discontinuation may be necessary if any symptoms or test results are abnormal.
