Adult dose

For aceclofenac, take 200 mg once daily. Do not chew or crush the tablet; swallow it whole. To minimize cardiovascular adverse reactions, the lowest effective dose should be administered for the shortest duration.

Patients who regularly consume more than three glasses of alcohol per day while taking this medication may experience serious side effects such as gastrointestinal bleeding; therefore, it is essential to consult with a physician or pharmacist. This medication may increase the risk for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events. Patients with cardiovascular risk factors, such as heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, and smoking, should consult carefully before taking this medication and should use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration possible. During treatment, regularly check for cardiovascular symptoms, and immediately seek medical attention if abnormal symptoms appear. Additionally, this medication may increase the risk of serious gastrointestinal adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, and perforation. Older patients or those with a history of gastrointestinal diseases should be especially cautious and seek immediate treatment if gastrointestinal bleeding symptoms arise. Patients with active peptic ulcers or a history of bleeding, those with hypersensitivity to this drug or similar medications should not take this medication. Administration is also prohibited or requires cautious use in certain patient groups, including those with asthma, heart failure, severe kidney or liver impairment, late-stage pregnancy, or nursing mothers.
